Rangers will return from America and either be playing on Thursday July 14 in the Europa League or Saturday July 16 in the Betfred League Cup.

Rangers possible early season schedule

If Rangers defeat Hibs in the Scottish cup final they will be given a place in next season's UEFA Europa League. Rangers would go in to the second qualifying round which will also mean swerving next season's revamped League cup group stage.

The League cup starts with a group stage made up of eight groups of five teams. The four teams competing in Europe miss out on this stage and go straight in to the first knock out round. Below is the two fixture scenarios Rangers could face in the summer.
