Lille defender Efstathios Tavlaridis says he is unaware of any new interest in him from Rangers.
The Greece international is thought to be a target for incoming Gers boss Paul Le Guen following the Frenchman's confirmation that he will succeed Alex McLeish at Ibrox in the summer. The former Arsenal man was the subject of bids from the Old Firm club last summer, while Ligue 1 rivals Auxerre were also thought to have had an interest in the 26-year-old.
Tavlaridis's performances against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League group stages also attracted interest from several Premiership clubs - including West Ham United. Despite reports that Le Guen has lined up a deal for Tavlaridis, the defender admitted to having no knowledge of such matters.
"I don't know anything about new interest from Rangers and Paul Le Guen and right now, I don't want to know," Tavlaridis said in the Daily Record.
"Every year, they say I am leaving Lille to go to another club but I haven't left yet, have I?
"I have a contract until 2008 and would love to stay until then. If a club wants me, they have to deal with Lille, not me.
"All I want to do is concentrate on doing well here." Source - Sky Sports News
