Marco Di Vaio is on his way out of Valencia and could join Rangers in a cut-price £4million deal, according to reports.

The Italian spent last season on loan at Monaco from Valencia but the French club have declined to make the deal permanent.

Now Di Vaio's agent has been instructed to find his client a new club, with Gers and PSV showing early interest.

Valencia are willing to let him go for around £4million - which is good value for a player who has been involved in £25million worth of transfers during his career.

New coach Quique Sanchez Flores wants to make changes to his squad and has told Di Vaio, Patrick Kluivert, Bernardo Corradi and Stefano Fiore they can leave the club.

Di Vaio has won 14 caps for Italy and cost Parma £10million in 1999. Three years later he joined Juventus for £15million, but his career has stalled in Spain and Ibrox boss Paul Le Guen could be tempted by a move after missing out on Swedish forward Johan Elmander. Source - TEAMtalk

Rangers have been offered the chance to sign striker Marco Di Vaio according to reports.

The Italian spent last season on loan at Monaco from Valencia but the French club have declined to make the deal permanent.

Now Di Vaio's agent has been instructed to find his client a new club, with Valencia willing to let him go for around £4 million - a cut-price deal for a player who has been involved in £25 million worth of transfers during his career.

New coach Quique Sanchez Flores wants to make changes to his squad and has told Di Vaio, Patrick Kluivert, Bernardo Corradi and Stefano Fiore they can leave the club.

Di Vaio has won 14 caps for Italy and cost Parma £10 million in 1999. Three years later he joined Juventus for £15 million, but his career has stalled in Spain and Ibrox boss Paul Le Guen could be tempted by a move after missing out on Swedish forward Johan Elmander.

Meanwhile, Le Guen will offer a trial to Danish defender Ole Budtz. The 27-year-old is a free agent after leaving Cerle Brugge and reports in the player's homeland suggest Paul Le Guen is considering signing the 6ft 5in centre back.

The player will be assessed at Murray Park before flying out to join the Gers squad in South Africa.
