Paris Saint Germain midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo has been in contact with Rangers about a possible move to The SPL, according to L'Equipe.

The 32-year-old has endured a difficult first season in Paris after joining from Milan last summer and could be set for a quick exit from the Parc des Princes, with clubs across Europe interested in his services.

Dhorasoo is contracted to PSG for another two seasons but may be about to opt for a move elsewhere in a bid for regular first-team football.

Despite helping the club to French Cup success, the France international never really got going in his first season back in Ligue 1 and former Lyon boss Paul Le Guen, now at Rangers, is keen to work with him once again.

Contact between Rangers and Dhorasoo reportedly began prior to the playmaker's involvement in France's World Cup campaign and will most likely resume at the start of next month.

Dhorasoo is the latest in a long line of French footballers linked with a move to Ibrox this summer.
