RANGERS hope to sign Arsenal wonderkid Niklas Bendtner on a year-long loan deal within the next 48 hours.
An agreement has almost been reached with the Highbury club for the young Dane after further talks between Paul Le Guen and close friend Arsene Wenger.
Bendtner, a 6ft-plus 18-year-old, was top scorer in the Premiership reserve league last season and is highly rated by Wenger.
Le Guen wants to add him to his strike force along with Dado Prso and Kris Boyd - with another, more experienced, hitman still being chased.
