After his wonderful goal at the weekend, Lazio striker Goran Pandev has become a transfer target for Scottish Premier League club Rangers.

According to the Corriere Dello Sport, the Macedonian marksman's form of late has attracted the attention of Rangers' boss Paul le Guen, who is thought to be impressed with Pandev.

The 23-year-old scored a dazzling solo goal to help Lazio beat Ascoli 3-1 and has been instrumental in pushing the Biancocelesti into seventh place this season, despite the Calciopoli sanctions imposed on the Rome club.

Pandev has already been linked with a move to the British Isles, with speculation rife back in October that Premiership side Arsenal were interested in taking him to north London on the eve of Macedonia's Euro 2008 qualifier against England. Source - Euro Sport
