Borussia Monchengladbach have signed Ivory Coast defender Steve Gohouri.
The 25-year-old Young Boys Berne stopper put pen-to-paper on a three-and-a-half year deal on Thursday after passing a medical at the Borussia Park.
No details of the fee involved have been revealed although it is believed Gohouri has cost the struggling Foals around €1.5million (£1million).
"Gohouri is strong both in the air and on the ground and he will provide some extra strength to the centre of our defence," said Gladbach sporting director Peter Pander.
The five-time German champions slumped into the Bundesliga relegation zone following a recent poor run of form and boss Jupp Heynckes now hopes that Gohouri's arrival will help shore up his vulnerable defensive line. Source - Sky Sports
