Scottish Premier League side Rangers are rumoured to be interested in Messina's on-loan midfielder Edgar Reyes Alvarez.

The Honduran is currently at the Stadio San Filippo on loan from Roma, and Alvarez has starred for the Giallorossi so far this season.

Rangers scouts are thought to have been tracking the 26-year-old and reports back to manger Paul Le Guen have been favourable. The French coach could now be keen on securing the right-sided player's services.

The Champions League side have allegedly asked about the player's situation, but nothing more, although it seems as though a more concrete offer is not far away from being tabled. Source - Euro Sport
