TOTTENHAM midfielder Michael Brown is wanted by Glasgow Rangers - and could lead a January clear-out from White Hart Lane. Rangers boss Alex McLeish is keen to tie up a deal for Brown who has been struggling to win a regular first team place at Tottenham this season.

Brown, 28, a £400,000 bargain signing from Sheffield United two years ago, was a revelation in his first year at Spurs but now faces a stiff battle in one of the biggest first team squads in the Premiership. Tottenham boss Martin Jol is ready to ship out up to five players in order to create a smaller and tighter squad as the club chases a Champions League place. Source - Mirror

Tottenham Hotspur misfit Michael Brown could be set for a move to the Scottish Premier League after reports emerged that Glasgow Rangers are tracking him. The Light Blues are believed to want reinforcements in midfield, and it is understood that Brown is a possible target. The former Sheffield United ace is well down the pecking order at White Hart Lane, and it is understood that Brown is one of the players set to be offloaded by Spurs in January. Source - Club Call
