Rangers to Face Villareal CF

Rangers were drawn against Spanish side Villareal earlier today in Nyon. It was the team many had said would be the best draw for Rangers. With the other group winners being Barcelona, Juventus, Arsenal, Liverpool, AC Milan & Lyon it's easy to see why.

Villareal don't have the stars such as Barcelona with Ronaldinho or Milan and Shevchencko but they do have south american stars such as Juan Roman Riquelme, Juan Pablo Sorín and Luciano Figueroa who Rangers were so close to signing only a few seasons back.

Rangers will entertain Villareal in the first leg at Ibrox wich will be played on the 22nd with the return leg on Tuesday 7th of March at El Madrigal.
