Inverness fixture change to be turned down
Both Rangers and Inverness Caley Thistle had agreed to switch the date of the clash from October 29 th to the 12 th November. Rangers are the only Scottish club left in European football and Inverness agreed to the switch in support of Scottish football but this change looks like it will be turned down.
Reported on the BBC web site Alex McLeish has commented that the date that both clubs had agreed on has now been scheduled as an International game. Now Rangers are set to take on Artmedia Bratislava just 3 days after playing Inverness which is followed by Aberdeen at Ibrox back to back away games against Celtic. Then another crucial Champions League game away to FC Porto and finished off by an away match to Hibs.
