Mladenovic leaves as Kyrgiakos signs

Rangers have finally given up on Serbian and Montenegro midfielder Dragan Mladenovic and terminated his contract. The midfielder joined the Scottish Champions last summer from Red Star Belgrade for €1.6 million and has failed to live up to that price tag. After picking up an injury in pre season he failed to recover and get into the first tem. He was then shipped out Real Sociedad on loan but he still failed to perform in Spain . Rangers chairman David Murray has insisted that they must sell players or agree to let players leave to bring in new faces.

Following on from Mladenovic's exit Greek Defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos will re sign for Rangers tomorrow after he completes a medical at Murray Park . It has been widely reported that the big centre half has been back in talks with Rangers and they have finally agreed terms.
