Rangers have ended weeks of speculation surrounding the destination of American winger DaMarcus Beasley. The US star had fallen out of favour Philips Stadion after spending last season out on loan at Manchester City.

The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Ibrox and at a knock down price of £700,000. Today Rangers also confirmed the sale of Karl Svensson to French side Caen for a rumoured £700,000.

Another transfer which, has been confirmed [finally] is that keeper Graeme Smith has been signed from Kilmarnock who was available on a bosman.
